So, in the past few weeks

I have found a ton of songs that, I swear, have changed my life. I'll share.
"Out Of My League" by Stephen Speaks.
"Lullaby For A Stormy Night" by Vienna Teng.
"When I Fall In Love" by Danny Seward.
"Always On My Mind" by Michael Buble.
"Stary Cat Strut" by the Stray Cats.

Sorry I took so long to update. I almost did Wednesday, but I realized the number of posts would be odd if I did. I hate odd numbers.

Only one more week until my one year! :D Quinn Michael Johnson. <3
SPEAKING OF QUINN!
He got me tickets to see... WICKED!
At the Gammage.
Aaaaahhhhhhh! I'm SO excited...
Isn't he the best?!
Yes. He is.

Hey, guess what? I'm a Junior. :)

So, that stinkin' web cam I bought definitely doesn't work. It's not compatible with my computer, and that really pisses me off.
I've given up, I'm not going to mess with it anymore. I'm going to wait and purchase an iBook, and then I'll be happy. :)

Ahem. This past week in the life of Desi...

I didn't work at all. AT ALL. Pisses me off... and I had to drive all the way out there to go to In-Service for an hour. Grr.
The twenty seventh! This day marked the day Little Kelsey Gibson turned fifteen. :D And I had an ortho appointment. I don't get my braces off yet. :/
Thursday! I went to the mall with Lindsay and bought amazing sunglasses! Ha ha. :) And then I spent the night at her casa! But before that, we went to the Buzz for under age night. Lindsay has the cutest little Exotic Persian. I want an Exotic Persian. I just want a flat-faced kitty. Lindsay's was names Maggie. She was a bit of a spazz, not gonna lie. :) But she was cute!
Friday, Quinn picked me up from Lindsay's and we went to Big Surf all day! Then he took me home and he went to work out and then he got me Panda and we went to my aunt's house to watch my cousin while my aunt and uncle went out and we watched House at the same time!
Hooray for run on sentences! Who can tell me what kind of sentence structure that had? Kudos to you if you get it!
Then Saturday I went shopping with my mom for her coworkers' baby shower. She needed gifts. Baby clothes are so cute! Ah! And after that Quinn came over and my whole family and him made s'mores and watched Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.

OH MY GOSH!
So, I was sharing a sliced apple with my mom at the mall on Saturday. I was chewing them in the back of my mouth because my front teeth were too sensitive to just bite off little pieces... then I felt a bracket break.
Flippin' great.
Well, I went looking for a mirror so I could see which one it was, and finally my mom discovered one in her purse. I hold the mirror up, open my mouth, and go to touch the bracket I felt break... it was actually the band. For you non-braces-savvy folks, the band part of your braces is this little metal piece that wraps all the way around the very back tooth in your mouth. They're cemented there to hold the ends of the wire that go around your mouth so that you don't get painfully poked. WELL, I moved it forward and back and it didn't budge. Thinking I might have felt the breakage wrong, I moved the thing up and down just to check.
Well, it was indeed broken. The cap moved up... WITH MY TOOTH!
It yanked my tooth right out of my gums!
I freaked and started to cry - I don't know why, but I did - my mom started calling my ortho's office.
Their voicemail told us to call his cell if it was an emergency, so we did.
His cell voicemail said he didn't always hear his phone, and to call his house if it was emergency, so we did.
Sigh.
By this time, I was actually the one on the phone and my mom was furiously speeding down the 60. He finally answered, and I explained what had happened and he goes, "Wow. Well, I go out of town tomorrow, but I need to see you..."
"So, do you want me to come to the office?"
"No, come to my house."
"Aha, okay, where do you live?"
And this is how I ended up laying on my orthodontist's couch on a Saturday afternoon (and this is how I ended up getting tackled, tapped, and rolled on by his two year old daughter who found me fascinating).
Turns out, the "tooth" was actually the only fake one I have. I had a root canal in seventh grade and it has become un-cemented. Phew!
It's not moving because the band is still connected to the wire, and that is holding me in. But, I have to go see my dentist. :D
I love my dentist.
It was great.

Long post, hooray!
Be happy. :)
