My first post in goodness knows how long. The only things new:
1) My New Years Resolution is to be more socially like the person I was Freshman year.
2) I have grown and am growing much closer to God. :) My grandmothers heart breaking death has brought me the most fulfilling life.

That she is posting from her iPod Touch, which is a lot harder and more irritating than one would think. But I have news.

I am spending the day/night at some hotel in Scottsdale with my friends Megan and Lindsay! <3 Hopefully I'll become a shade or two darker by the end of it all :)

The MAIN reason for my update is because of my wonderful boyfriend! Thanks to him I have come into the ownership of a flip video camera and have finally activated my dailybooth.com accout and will be taking pictures starting Sunday! Because that is when I will have a computer next. For those of you who don't know what the site is, the object is to take a picture of yourself every single day for a year, then you and the rest of the interwebbing world can watch how you've changed over the course of a year. It came at THEE perfect time, I've realized, because now I'm capturing my senior year. I start this summer and by the time it's over I'll be heading off to college. Kinda bittersweet :)

I'm heading off, this little bit has taken about a half hour to type on this silly screen and I need That '70s Show and some beauty rest. Get back to you soon! And with a dailybooth link ;).

I've been thinking about posting for a while

but only just now did it occur to me JUST how long it's been.
Ridic. Lo siento.
Moving on.

I"m officially the palest Lifeguard at Big Surf. Bronchitis has prevented me from working so even though I am slightly tan, I'm blindingly white compared to my coworkers... even QUINN is darker than me. It's just embarrassing.

Holy crap. I'm wearing my black Homecoming shirt from my Junior year and it's practically gray colored right now because of how much of Dutchess' white fur is all over it. Sexay!

Speaking of Dutchess, she's using the litter box next to me right now. Just like she always does whenever I have to be on the computer for longer than a few minutes. What a wonderful life I have.

I'm really kind of digging how every paragraph I have is about the same length. I'm going to see if I can keep it going throughout the entire post. Because that would be very interestingly cool. :)

I HAVE NOT HAD COFFEE SINCE SUNDAY! Now, pick your jaws up off your laps. Okay. I just wake up at like 8 or 9 and no one makes any coffee for me and I'm too lazy to do it myself :( maybe I will today. Maybe.

I went to see Toy Story 3 this morning at midnight with Ciara, Sam and Brianna! It was awesome, there were so many teens in there it was ridiculous. And it's not even like there was a bunch of nerdy teens, but cool kids like me :)

Quick thought: Did any of you realize Andy grew up with people at my age? Even if Andy was 17 (my age) but going to college (like some of you) as he was in this movie, SOMEHOW he was going through life at the same rate you were.

I think that's what still entrances and entices us today with the Disney movies we watched so long ago. They're totally not aimed at our age group but somehow we could watch them for hours on end. Anyway,

the movie was sooo awesome! It most definitely was a long overdue end to the best Pixar story of all time. I cried my eyes out at the end because it was so sad, though :( overall it was happy, it just tugs at your heart strings. :)

Shawn of the Dead just came on after the Colbert Report. I'm listening to Liz break up with Shawn right now. It's kind of strange. Because it feels like I should be typing what they're saying. But I'm not.

Quinn and I are going to the Science Center and the As You Wish :) Science today and AYW tomorrow. Actually, we're going to this place called Creative Hands but no one knows that that is. So I say As You Wish that way you know what we're doing.

I should probably get out of my jammies and into my real people clothes. But not right now. I'm content with typing in my clover boxers and Homecoming shirt :) even though they don't match and it's getting on my nerves. :)

I get paid today! Yay! I still haven't cashed my Big Surf check. Or gotten the other one that's waiting there for me. But those are going towards saving for my car. Because I'm responsible! :)

Earlier this week I was hanging out with Simon. We watched Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince because he hadn't seen it. He kept calling Dumbledore "Gandalf" or "Dumbledalf." Pissed me off!

I had to look up how to spell "Gandalf" by the way. Thought it was "Gandolph." :) So not LOTR savvy. Anywho, he even posted a picture of G on my Facebook to piss me off. There's a link to my FB up there ^ if you wanna see.

I'm doing a pretty good job at keeping my paragraphs roughly the same size. I'm adding some stuff to stories I would normally leave out, but they're halping with the length. So enjoy!

I think I'm going to close up this post and head out. I haven't started making coffee yet but I will. Like right now. I just need to say bye and stop talking. Bye and stop talking! :)

I have been SO busy lately, I hope I can remember everything to tell you. ;D

I am 90% ready for Prom. I still need earrings. :) And I am SO EXCITED for Prom! The newspaper lay out is shaping up fabulously and I LOVE IT. And the whole, limo/dinner/dance thing is cool too. Ya know, fasho. ;)

Ahem, for Prom.

My elbow hurts.

I get a week off from work, which is cool, because LIFEGUARD TRAINING IS NEXT WEEK! WOOO!
Go Big Surf :) I am incomprehensibly excited.

Did I tell you I want to rush a Sorority at ASU? Well, I do.

In choir we are singing:
- Come Thou Fount of Every Blessing (pretty)
- Shine On Me (Like they do at Baptist churches)
- Seasons of Love (Wooo!)
- Don't Stop Believein' as done by Glee (WOOOOOOWOOOOWOOOWOOOO!!!!!!!!!!)
I REALLY want a solo this time, but I think Ubrig might ruin the solos. She seems to want each time a solo starts in SOL (it's slightly different than in the movie) a different singer to sing it. So like three girls and two guys. When it should be one girl and one guy.
Whatev.
But the GLEEEE song had better not be that way! There should be ONE male and ONE female - not sayin' I should be the female, I'd like to be, but that's not my reason. My reason is because that song is going to sound SO DUMB if there's all these different voices and variations and trills and static notes and it's just gonna be awful. It's a gamble to bring it up - if there are multiple solos, I just might get one, if there is only one, who knows? - but it HAS to be done. You just can't ruin that song. Just can't.

In theatre I am rehearsing in my beautiful dress :) and no, I have not taken a picture in it yet. I am gonna go it the day of so that way I'm all done up and it looks supercool. :)
My scenes are coming together now, it seems, and my monologue has had major work done to it. :) I have different voices for every character in every bit or work, it's gonna be AWESOME!

I get to sing with the special choir tonight. I did during third hour too, it's "We Are The World" by Michael Jackson.

Gah, I love my kitty. :)
I just took time to pet her. :)

So, I am making major progress in Journalism. :)
Taking on a lot more responsibility, like my sections - Arts & Entertainment - two page spread, the design of the prom paper center spread and working with the computer people who will be making the website for MHS Shade online! Now all my fabulous readers can read my blog and my articles. :)
I really hope to get EIC again next year.

My Shakespeare Festival dress came in! The arms need to be hemmed - the sleeves were RIDICULOUSLY too large - and then it's allll minee. :)

I am getting tan once again! Spring Break brought fun in the sun with the love of my life and this Friday will too!

I totally intend to rush the Greek system at ASU :)
I got interested from this show I watch, Greek, and I decided to look up more about the Greek system. I LOVE IT!
If any of you reading this know anything about the sororities at ASU, do tell :) so far I have gone online and seen the SITES, but I think we all know those things can be very misleading as to what REALLY goes on in the houses.
So far, I'm interested in Alpha Chi Omega, Alpha Phi, and ESPECIALLY Chi Omega. That's just from the sites. My opinion may change in a year when I actually rush.

So, yes!

Dutchess is being a trouble maker. She broke a vase and bit me hard AND harshly attacked my leg all in one day. Naughty little kitten. I'm pretty sure she's stopped growing, though. :) still baby sized.

Gah! So I am really excited for prom! I've had my dress/shoes for a whiiile now, like, months. I know exactly how I want to do my hair and make up and NOW I know we're getting a limo with our friends. :)
AND I'M SO EXCITED TO BE ASKED! Quinn has known how he's gonna do it since the beginning of the year, so I'm positive it's going to be amazing! Yay me!

Post Secret of the Week

I'M A BRUNETTE

Sadly.
I'm basically back to square one with my hair... brown, only tons of damage to my poor hair later.
Because my luck sucks, the one physical quality I care so much about HAD to be damaged.
Yup.
Well, I'm just gonna let the sun bleach it out now, less damage and that's how I did it last time anyway.
Freaking hate this color. It doesn't look bad, but it's not what I wanted.

So I work a ton this week (yaaay!).
AND I JUST TURNED IN MY APPLICATION AT BIG SURF!!! ;D
So excited.

I also finally have my complete Renaissance outfit. Luckily I love my blog readers, so HERE is the only place you'll see a picture of it.



You do not get to see the shoes or the brooch of my great-grandmothers that I'm wearing with it, however, until I actually don the dress.
The only difference between my dress and the picture is that my sleeves will be different. There will not be any lace coming out of the bottom and it'll stop at my elbows.
